RECOVERY

Recognising one’s need of help is the first step to recovery. However, people in recovery and their families are often not prepared for the issues that follow once abstinence is achieved - specifically coming to terms with living alongside a non drinking/or using family member, and for the people in recovery him/herself, getting used to living a sober life.

Therefore, we have decided to collate helpful information, advice and suggestions from our people in recovery to help those about to embark on this wonderful (but challenging) journey of recovery.
